World waze as apposed to north america

I live in canada. It seems as if I should be on the world.waze site but all my updates and mapping archives go to www.waze.com. Is there a way to have my mapping archives go to world.waze or is there a difference?

Just as Canada is part of North America, Canada uses the North American servers.

I have the same problem. When I go to www.waze.com and click on the live map, Canada is blanked out. If I go to the world waze link I can see Canada however I can’t see any info about my points or routes that I have driven. If I log back into waze.com I can see my points in my dashboard. From there I can get to the map to make edits but I can’t edit by going directly to the live map on either site. Something is definitely wrong here.

As an example, take a look at www.waze.com and look at the live map. Try to zoom in to where Cambridge, Ontario, Canada is located. You will see a big blank space. If you log into the word waze map you will see hwy 401 going by Cambridge and a few other roads but the information is limited. When I go back to the main www.waze.com site and click through to edit the map from my dashboard travels, I can suddenly see a whole bunch of stuff that I have driven around Cambridge.

Live map doesn’t show above 14k scale. Hopefully that’s fixed soon, but that’s the way it is for now. You’re not supposed to use the world site, and the world site will not show you the current state of your maps, but rather the state that they were before Canada was assigned to the server that became the North American server. Ignore the world server. Never go there again. Or else.
