Some days I get more edits in than others. Now sure how many I managed during the weeks (and longer) with no points updates, but I’m pretty sure I recall one daily jump of 5 or 6K edits.
The 17k miles driven are actually a little low for me for a year. I normally do at least one big (>5000 miles) road trip each year, but this year I flew instead. No, Waze was not recording new roads while I was in the air.

With mapcat being in my home state of Ohio, he is pretty tough competition for me with our state rankings. When I manage to get to 2nd place in the weekly rankings, I feel like I have really worked hard! And I’m STILL way behind mapcat!
Congrats buddy! Just don’t get yourself burned out. I’d much rather be in second place than be in first and have you drop out!

EDIT: reasoning behind my remark> in the early days it was mainly the drivers being in the top, and many top scorers were suspected to be long-haul truck drivers. Clearly, this is hardly the case (anymore).
