The instructions given in the two “share your route” links instruct the driver to turn, but do not give any wayfinder.

This is because the wayfinder comes too late.

Because it does not come on the initial ramp segment, and because there is no fork before the ramp segment with the “to US-30 east” name, that name does not appear in the driving instructions, and would never be TTS-announced to the driver.

The name appears on https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lon=-75.72432&lat=40.01185&layers=1957&zoom=7&segments=61395361
but might as well not be there because it won’t appear in waze-supplied driving directions.

I would like to add a wayfinder consistent with the road signs in the earlier segment in each case so it can alert drivers and match the signs they see as they approach the turns.

Also, just to alleviate confusion, a wayfinder (segment) is different than what you are referring to. Please see: https://wiki.waze.com/wiki/Junction_Style_Guide/Interchanges#Wayfinders

I believe the TTS instructions will include the desired “turn left/right to US-30 E” in both situations presented. Please let me know if this addresses your concern.

Thanks for correcting my incorrect use of the term “wayfinder”.

I will check again with the UR reporter to make sure I understand what was said about missing turn instructions.

I agree, these ramps could be better. I fixed them up, they should route nicely now.
