I’ve come across this AR and whilst the report itself is a little strange, but not overly hard to solve, I’ve left it in place for now.
I’m more looking for advice with the actual junction, as soon as you see it you’ll know what I mean.
May I be so bold as to humbly propose a little more simpler junction?
since there is a slip way to the left onto the primary road West bound, together with a 2-way segment connecting the street with both directions of the primary road which allow right turn into the primary East bound, the slip way to the right can be removed (since the 2-way provide connection towards the east, and the slip way to the west, and the island is less than 5 meter wide).
Proposals welcome…
I did actually consider a single road before ending up with the the two I left. This because one is distinctly one way and because of the distance between the two outermost roads. I suspect that map issues would be raised because of it.
I also note that the is a report for “Restricted turn might be allowed” looking on streeview I see two thongs:
There appears to be no restriction against making that U-Turn. Unless someone knows differently can that report be closed as fixed as current restrictions will allow it.
There is a speed sign which has a place name under it for “Bramley Vale”. This does not appear to match the existing city name on the nearby streets. djd001: Can you update the map accordingly?
Hahaha, Des, if you see 2 thongs there, then you were most definitely at the wrong location in Street View! the more I visit the forum, the more interesting than chatting it becomes…
