Hi,
I keep coming back to this, and not sure why it’s so out of alignment, and how best to fix it.

Any advice?

Looks like another editor has made quite a few mistakes here (no road names, not attached to the roundabout). Do you know if the aerial photos are correct? The two map problems have been generated because there is no connection between the segments where there should be. You’ll need someone to unlock the roundabout (or better, rebuild it). I’m sure someone else will be along in a minute (I’m betting on Tony or Iain) who can help more but I’m done editing for the day.
It seems the aerial view is correct. I’ve unlocked the roundabout and around segments. You can have a go now
I mapped that Service area last summer blind as there were no aerials in Waze (and there still isn’t in Google). I looks like it’s been tweaked as a lot of what I’d done is gone. Nice to see new Aerials, what you see is how it is now (I go there occasionally).
Currently this won’t work as there’s no way into the services from the A6 (N) unless you go all the way round the roundabout which isn’t how it is in real life.
I’ve taken a quick look and fixed up the M46 junction and the services.
There are also a lot of red roads where a (different) previous editor has not set a city or road name plus lots of unterminated dead end roads. If you want to take a look at these I’ll leave it alone, otherwise I can back here an clean up (bit it wont be till Friday s I’m working in Manchester tomorrow).
Thanks for all this fast and great feedback!
I’ve made a start (working my way up the street).
I can’t attach the parking lot roads to the A6 (needs a Level 5). No hurry, but it’s this section (mostly to the right)

Not my prettiest work, but I’m getting there.
Hi
I have also done the new development.

Let me know if you think I need to do more.
Thanks again for all your help.
Look Good and it seems all connectivities are correct. However, just 2 comments at the moment:
Quite a few segments are still unconnected, eg:
This is because the A road is still locked at level 5 (I’ve deliberately left it so you can see). Obviously Waze can’t route between unconnected segments.
Some segments (not yours) are unterminated eg:
This can prevent Waze from routing from those segments.
As for the parking lot roads - there’s no need to draw in so many segments. They often don’t work since Waze can’t be so accurate in locating a user; they also need a lot of maintenance to keep up to date. Best to have a single segment into the parking lot (I mean car park). I usually don’t name parking lot segments (someone will tell me why I’m sure).
Don’t give roundabouts a road name eg:
It can affect/prevent correct navigation. A city name is ok though.
You’ll get there!

The junction of the A6 and birstall meadow road/the P&R is overly complex, it really only needs to be a crossroads, the side roads should just be a single two way segment that joins the A6 dual carriageway.
Remember Waze does not need to simulate every lane, usually the simplest solution that works is the best.
I’ve unlocked the required segments so you can connect the roads which dknight212 has mentioned ![]()
It was difficult to do much with the junction with the A road being locked. But thanks, will se what I can do.
Thanks for the feedback on the roundabouts… wasn’t sure. Will amend.
Thanks for the feedback. When you’re new it’s hard not to try to get everything just so. Point taken, and will simplify.
I think I’ve undertaken all the feedback…
Would be good to have a sanity check…?
If you’re still editing you’ve failed the sanity check, just like the rest of us.

This is much better!
There’s still a few little tweaks that need doing:
These are easily spotted if you are using Tim’s excellent colour highlight script.
Note that where a road is a loop or a split that connects to itself you should normally leave an extra node: Here and Here
Keep up the good work!
