I’m a first-time editor and I recently completed my first edit under the supervision of another editor. I have removed a road under his/her direction as this road is permanently closed to traffic but Waze was trying to route me along it. The road in question can be found at this postcode:
WR6 5JL in the UK
The road in question used to join the A4103 to the white road, but now traffic is routed up and down the small link to the south. Thus now there is a node where the road I deleted used to attach to the A4103. I was advised that this node was unnecessary and could be removed, but the road is locked and so I don’t have the privilege to do so.
If it is good practice to remove this node, could someone with the appropriate privilege please do that?
