I came through the A82/A85 from Tyndrum and on down towards Crieff today and there have been some significant changes with regards to the speed cameras. The speed limits still change as before, but the average speed cameras seem to be across the whole stretch. There is a web site detailing the scheme at https://a82-a85road.info location wise there are cameras that I could see at each end, plus where the limit changes going through Crainlarach, plus I think I saw another one part way along the A85 stretch between Crainlarach and and the A827. Was on my own and driving with Waze on CarPlay so limited ability to note cameras, sorry.
Hi there, thanks for the post, I updated the length of road you have highlighted as an Average Speed Check Zone in Waze back on February 29th this year. I also added the cameras at the locations provided by the project website. These have been live in the app since March.
Waze doesn’t have a seperate camera type for average speed cameras. If you did not received and alerts it is possible you were affected by a possible intermittent bug that means the app is not alerting for cameras at the moment in some situations.
Thanks - I’m on CarPlay so I don’t get the visual indication of being in an average speed camera zone - but I wasn’t getting anything else so it may well be that bug.

There are a couple of URs a day in my area on the M1 complaining about this. My understanding is that, when using CarPlay, you get only get a notification of the first speed camera that you pass, but no notifications for subsequent cameras. I use Android Auto myself so don’t know the full details. There are a couple of threads on the global forum about it, and I think on reddit as well.
I can’t really give specifics as it appears to be several different issues; only 1st camera alerts, visual but no verbal alerts, no cameras alert, no cameras showing at all. As Kevin states, there has been a spike in URs about missing cameras that are clearly mapped in WME, CarPlay seems to be affected more. Personally (iPhone only), I have noticed that I am getting Red Light Camera alerts on roads I would normally get Speed Camera alerts as the RLC is after the SC.
A couple of BUG reports have been opened in the Waze Beta program so HQ are aware but they have not stated they can reproduce it only that they have added it to their internal system for investigation.

I had the a similar problem after the update to iOS13.5 (no more speed-check alerts on CarPlay).
Yesterday I made the update to iOS13.5.1 and everything turns back to normal (today I made a 400km trip and the speed-check alerts were correctly reported on CarPlay as usual)
