Request help editing the intersection of Snake Pond Road and Greenway Road to reflect the gate and id card access to the Coast Guard Air Station and Mass Military Reservation. I understand many people won’t want to be routed thru this area, but when my destination is on the installation, and would like Waze to take me there.
Please advise.

I see Otis ANGB & Otis AFB (landmarks)… Which way is the gate going (i.e. which side is secure?)
All internal roads for gate communities, corporate complexes, and military bases should be set to private. This will allow routing onto & off of the base, as well as routing internally, but will prevent being routed through the base (start and end points off base, with a trip passing through it).
We are currently discussion options to deal with muli-layered security situations.
The Greenway Road side to the west is secure.
My routing from off base to the building worked perfectly until about two weeks ago.
How do I get waze to take me onto base?

North of the intersection, there are two segments of Private road, followed by type Street. That road is broken down into several small segments, and it should be one long segment to the next intersection.
EVERYTHING inside the gates should be set to private, I’m seeing a mix of Private & Street type which could be causing the issue.
I’ve gone in a edited the route to private all the way to my destination. THanks for that suggestion.
I attached a screen shot of the waze routing which fails to route me via snake pond road and thru the “Sandwich Gate”, instead taking me way to the west or south of the fastest route via other base access points.
Any suggestions?
Also try checking all the internal routing, make sure a road didn’t get deleted, disconnected, or had incorrect turn restrictions set.
Can you help me edit the base roads? The entrance/gate to base Waze is routing me to is not marked private as you suspected, and I don’t have permissions to edit that part of the map.
Starting with Simpkins Rd just to the north of the intersection with Kittridge Rd is where the gate is and base starts.

And on the western side of base, from the small section marked private just west of W Hospital Rd all road east are on base.

This is going to take a little bit to get done… I need to find a better map of the base to start.
I think I’m getting the hang of the editing function and I’m familiar with the base so I’ll give it a shot.
