Is it possible to add reports without the app? Otherwise how would I add a report without having to use a rooted android device with gps spoofer
Go to Live Map. You can raised a report there from within a browser by left-clicking on a street and then selecting the Report a Problem link. This will show on as a User Report on the editing map a few minutes later.
I meant traffic reports like roadworks
I’m not sure that you’d need to. In the UK, Waze gets a feed from roadworks.org (seen as reported by user Elgin) which plants roadworks reports on the map. They’re only visible in the app, and you can only report them yourself, if they’re missing from the map, from the app.
They’re fairly pointless anyway, as Waze notes the slow down of traffic associated with roadworks and takes that into account when setting a route. They’re really only informative so you know why traffic is slow along a particular section of road.
Still annoys the life out of me I can pop to the shops drop a report of roadworks and on my return journey its not there. If they expire so quick why does waze allow them to be reported at all
AIUI, if others are reporting the roadworks as well, there comes a point (don’t know when) when it makes them stick and visible to all.
