Hi Editors,

I’d appreciate your help with a hazard I got. While driving back from a White Sox game, while getting merging from 1-90 to 90/94, I got the “Multiple lanes merge” alert, however this seemed like normal merging traffic. The lanes didn’t reduce significantly and as a driver I was unsure what to be aware of with this alert.

Perhaps at this location, we should remove this hazard? Since the amount of lanes doesn’t significantly reduce and it may distract drivers from what may be considered normal merging. Just a suggestion.

Hi Ramatyossi,
Thank you for your post! After some discussion from local editors, we agreed with the position to remove the hazard. To your point and one of our local editors points, while the roadways merge, there is no reduction in the number of lanes before or after the merge

This will take ~24 hours to update in the app
