Is there a specific time the map raid will start or is it just the 16th in general? For instance will be the 16th Feb up to almost a day earlier in Australia than the US

I was able to add 183 people to the MapRaid Africa role on the Gobal Discord server. If anyone else joins, they can request it in #role_requests.

There is a lot of segments in these countries which were drawn long time ago and now have to be deleted because of whole new residential regions built in their paths. Have we to keep these segments alive or can we just delete them and edit all the new segments we see in the satellite images?

Hey Idan,

Iā€™ve been diligently following the announcements in the forum, but in the end, this Map Raid was published in the newsletter. Each time, the announcement appears on a different platform, making it hard to anticipate.

Itā€™s frustrating to keep missing out on these raids, especially since @eyal-k and I have been waiting for yearsā€”since the Russia Map Raid and in between until Croatiaā€”for another opportunity to join. Weā€™re still hoping thereā€™s some way, perhaps an exception beyond the standard procedure, to take part.

Thanks for your time, and weā€™ll definitely stay tuned for future raids!

Anyone interested in joining the real-time chat can join the Global & MapRaid Discord Server.

Once in the server, go to the #role-requests channel and ask for the MRA role.

Then, youā€™ll find the MRA channels under the ā€œmap raid!ā€ Category. Iā€™d recommend muting most of the other categories.
