Why doesn’t waze have alternate routes when I choose routes when I navigate to home or work? There really are many alternate routes.
Either lack of map maturity in your area or too short a distance are possibilities.
I would sit down at a desktop, open Waze and go to live map. At the top you can enter a destination and starting point. See what comes up. I was having trouble routing to my daughters college in Minnesota, it was sending me in crazy routes. I started to look at it closely to see where it wouldn’t take the real shortest way and found highways set in wrong direction, turn restrictions, etc… Once that was fixed, it’s all good. Another route you may use, maybe restricted somewhere. You can always set your directions home and just drive the way you want to go. Waze will try to reroute to their route, sometimes when it stops giving you wrong directions and they are now right, that might be the spot that there is a problem too.
