According to other forum answers, if I have a TTS problem, I should contact area champs, which links to the wiki page describing what ranks mean, but no links to actual champs, and looking through a few hundred pages of members is beyond my sanity.
Ever since I’ve been using Waze in NEOhio, the TTS has had no problem with Brookpark Rd. (Cleveland, Brooklyn, Parma, Brook Park, North Olmsted)
Just about 2 weeks ago, it suddenly was changed from [bru̇k-pärk] to [brük-perk] (like brewk-pairk). It’s driving local Wazers I know and myself kind of nutty, in a Swedish Chef sort of way.
In the highlighted announcements, I see a global champ. Who is the correct area champ to contact about TTS problems in NEO? I’ve hit massive info overload just trying to figure this out.
The first place I would suggest looking is the Ohio forum. Here you will see multiple threads listing different resources as well as some frequent, local editors/posters.
I know how difficult it can be to navigate the forum and find the correct user to message. For this you can really contact anyone listed under the Large Area Managers thread. The original poster is one of the three Ohio State Managers and any one of the Large Area Managers should be able to help you with an issue like this.
If you can send me a Permalink I can look into this for you.
You can post a new thread if you are having issues with something in Ohio, or if you check some of the stickies you will see they have been updated fairly recently.
The Large Area Managers thread that I linked to in my previous post would show you what editor covers all of NE OH so you could start there. I also have some area in NW OH which is why I was for a Permalink for the street segments which experience bad TTS.
You will also see some of the more active posters and some of them have information in their signature which indicate their editing rank & area in Ohio. For instance, the thread creator for many of the OH stickies is TerryPurdue, one of Ohio’s three State Managers.
The Ohio wiki page is being reworked so finding out information about editor coverage in Ohio will be much easier once that is complete.
If you want to just provide the Permalink for the segments in question I can take a look and/or forward along to the appropriate editor.
It is, I was trying to tell you to just take a look around and you will see frequent posters, the stickies with information regarding editors in specific regions, etc…
How about we address the issue at hand?
Could you provide a Permalink for the problem roads? If so, I will report the TTS issue.
