I am trying to add a new road which is right next to my own with a similar name, people keep coming here as the new road does not show up on the map …

Good morning.
As a new editor, you should be able to add a limited number of roads, and the road you’re looking to add this new road off of is at a L1 lock (i.e. not limited to a higher lock level).
Are you getting a particular error message when you try, or are you just after advice on how to add it?
