hi, I have been trying to edit the map on two roads for many weeks now. every time I try this I get a error message saying it wont save the changes. could somebody take a look??? if you look on the uk map and search for fangfoss you will see I have placed two map errors. thanks tim

Can you right click on the map where is says “Permalink” and copy the url - it would also help if you select the road before doing this - and post the link here and someone will have a look.
What error message do you get, exactly? Is it along the lines of “While you were editing a road has been changed or deleted”?

Yeap…I can’t save it too. Possibly sync issue. Sometimes it will disappear after few days. Anyway, I’ll send it to waze support to sort it out.

its says no turns aloud, when in fact all turns are aloud, it always takes you right around this one section of road. thanks tim.
It seems there are some ghost segment overlapped. It may be caused by the rollback (see status here).
I’ll say to wait for few days and see.
I’ve moved the top segment and see a ghost segment which can’t be edited.

Essentially, yes. Keep it on the back burner and keep an eye on the Status page. Once you see an update to at least today, then check the segments to see if they are editable.

I’ve been seeing a lot of these problems in N Yorkshire, all caused by edits I did on or around July 26th. I’ve asked HQ to fix some of them, others I’ve been able to sort out myself. Most of the time there’s a duplicate segment hiding on top of a real segment, which cannot be edited. Moving the end nodes helps identify the real segments.
HQ said sync errors should resolve themselves after 10 days, but I think this is some different kind of database corruption. I might get in touch with them again…
