We’re super excited to announce that the registration for the in-person 2024 APAC Mega Meetup is now open, and this year we’ll be gathering in the vibrant city of Singapore! 
The registration is now open and we’d like to invite you to register for a Meetup filled with conversations, inspiration, and connection.
Dates: June 7 - 9, 2024 (from Friday evening to Sunday noon)
Location: Singapore
High Level Agenda:
- Friday, June 7: Check-in, Reception & Dinner
- Saturday, June 8: Presentations, Workshops, Fun Activity & Dinner
- Sunday, June 9: Presentations, Roundtables and Q&A Panel. The Meetup will end with goodbye cocktails around 2:00 PM.
This meetup is all about bringing us together and celebrating the fantastic spirit and dedication of our community. We’ve seen great things happen when we join forces, share ideas, and collaborate. Together, we’ll discover new possibilities, overcome challenges, and drive innovation to enhance the Waze experience for millions around the world.

Kindly Note - Registering does not guarantee a spot. While we would love to have everyone join us, we have a limited number of spots available for each community, and they will be allocated based on specific criteria.
Key factors influencing the selection process include:
- Editor’s Level
- Participation in Previous Meetups: Attendance at previous local Meetups was taken into account as an indicator of engagement and commitment to the community.
- Participation in Cross Communities/Roles: Active involvement in multiple community initiatives, such as being an editor and beta tester.
- Balance Between Communities: We aimed to create a diverse representation of countries to foster inclusivity and provide a positive experience for all attendees.
- Community Activity: Level of community activity, including Forum posts, Discord conversations, and involvement in special projects.
- Local Community Leadership Recommendations
Participants who secure a spot will receive a confirmation email in early to mid-March.
If you’re on the waiting list, we’ll promptly notify you once a spot becomes available.

Please read before registering:
- Make sure you have a valid (not expired) passport.
- Do not book your own flights as we cannot guarantee reimbursements. Once your attendance is confirmed, our travel agents will contact you.
- We understand that some of you may plan to attend with your family members, and we acknowledge the significance of their support. Please be aware that we won’t be able to cover any expenses for additional guests, and unfortunately, our production company cannot manage their flight reservations.
Additionally, they won’t be able to participate in any of the Meetup’s sessions. - Waze covers 2 nights hotel accommodation (Friday and Saturday) for Mega Meetups. Waze will cover a 3rd night if your flight itinerary or driving distance (more than 4 hours drive by car in each direction) requires this. This should be approved by email before you confirm your flight itinerary.
