Area Manager Query

I have been a member of the waze community for some time.

For the past few months I have been the area manager of a number of areas (3 seperate areas).

Last night I requested another area that I am familiar with, I recieved an email today saying, ‘I’ve updated the area that you are in charge of, according to your request’, I am now marked as the area manager of the newest location.

Is this a bug? Can you only be an area manager for one area now? Was it a mistake? a misunderstanding?

Its just the area I was previously an area manager of I am still more than familiar with and am continually contributing to the areas.

Sounds like just a mistake. Do you no longer see your name in the old areas on the map when you turn on the editors layer?

Nope, one area now has no area manager listed (Postcode: cf63 2xa).

Yep, they screwed up. Either provide them the other areas again, or perhaps a new single area which covers all of them?

Thanks for the reply, did this as soon as I relaised (around 5 hours ago) just a case of awaiting for it to be reinstated then.

Uuuups … I would have a problem to request all areas again. I just hope that this will not happen when I request an additional area.

This usually doesn’t happen. Well, at least it hasn’t happened too much that I am aware of.
