Driving thru DC to Florida is so confusing regarding the roads / routes.
Are there any suggestions the best way to go say around the DC @ 10:30am.
Stay on I95, take Us 295 bypass . I also seem to also get confused with I95 & I495 go back up north.
Any help / advice would be appreciated.
To prepare for your trip, just make sure you add any toll/HOV passes that you have registered/installed in your car like E-Zpass (MD/VA) or similar. This will allow Waze to choose the best route for your drive, considering your transponder accounts. It will also give the most accurate toll estimates.
In my personal experience, its usually easiest to take I-95/495 from MD to I-95 S to get around DC, but traffic may vary, so just follow Waze. Just watch to see if Waze sends you via the express lanes. If so, you can enable “avoid tolls” to see what the express lane tolls save you on your ETA.
