Road closed by Thames Water for repairs until 10/09/2026. Both ways, all the time. Official diversion is via Bottom Road and Hatch Lane - a single track road unsuitable for HGVs and is usually just ignored by Waze as a unsuitable alternative route, but because the map thinks the road is open, it’s leading people to the signs which then send them down this chaotic diversion at the last minute and they all get stuck and block the diversion entirely. Please can the map be updated to reflect this complete road closure until 10/09/2026 to give drivers opportunity to just avoid trying to cut through the village entirely. Because the map thinks that they can get through when they can’t.
