UDOT is currently building a DDI (Diverging Diamond Interchange) and the intersection of 1100 S and I-15 near Brigham City. I will be managing this. I’ve already put in a request to UDOT for an artist’s representation of the final layout (as the UDOT project page is missing any such aides.) And will map the DDI in but leave it unconnected until closer to the actual finish and opening of the interchange.
If any editors frequent that area and would like to work with me, keeping me up to date on the progress so we don’t miss the opening I would greatly appreciate it. I’m not far from there but don’t get up that way at all.
For those wondering about the DDI, I’ve mapped in all five currently in operation in Utah, and driven three of them on a very frequent basis when I lived in American Fork. They are weird, but brilliantly so. They really do work very well. Anyone expecting to be driving that should be looking forward to it. They are more efficient in my opinion than the SPUI’s UDOT started building during the Olympic Rebuild of I-15.
