Hello!
I am an R2 editor from the USA currently traveling in Burundi for a couple months and have access to GIS functional classification information for major roads in Burundi while I am here. I would like to help improve the basemap of national, provincial, and communal roads in Burundi. On the Waze live map, many Burundian roads are disconnected or not mapped at all, so I would like to start by basemapping all the national and provincial roads in the country and ensuring connectivity between existing segments. I have limited car access while I am here, so I would need expansion of my editable area in Burundi to help improve the basemap. The only avenue I have seen to do this is by requesting an AM position in the Africa forum at:
