Hi everyone, I’m starting to track the progress of all Caltex Petrol stations Australia- wide but I need help!
In particular I have requests for some Area Managers and some regular editors to make updates.

I can only View this spreadsheet, hence I can only see the VIC Caltex sites and cannot change the Filter to view all.
Ah, now harm in allowing others to edit. I’ve changed the permission to allow all to edit. The filters should work now.
I’m going to make a V 2 that allows you to enter in an address and use the google maps api to search for the GPS location (handy if the list is just addresses).
And I thought it’d be good to see a graphic of progress…

Very nice effort you’ve gone to there. If only Waze would give us stats like that!
Great spreadsheet there, I’ve added the Queensland ones that I am personally familiar with. I have not progressed to those I am not familiar with as I’m still trying to finish mapping out suburbs in Brissy.
Victoria is now 100% surveyed.
Of the 214 to be added, I’ve found the following wazers who are close or AMs:
Now the updates! I’ve PM’d the close users and hoping to get some responses. Hopefully we’ll start seeing the orange segment disappear soon!
Thanks for the PM jeedo. I’ll do what I can. A quick look indicates not a lot. I am the closest wazer based on editing roads I travelled on at some point in the past, which means I no longer have edit rights. Might be time to expand my AM rights…
So, this is just for the Caltex stations right? Then you’re going to do the same for the others?
I’ve checked all the ones which are closest to me, if I get time, I’ll do some more where I have access.
Yeah just trying to narrow it to one brand, though in hindsight should have picked up one a little smaller to start with.
We’ll knock off one brand at a time.
Quick update: we down to about 140 petrol stations remaining in Victoria to add. If you’re close or inclined, don’t forget you can always request Area Manager via this form.
I’m noticing in QLD with your spreadsheet, the truck diesel stops are listed twice in the spreadsheet. I have noticed this 3 times now, must be how the data was collected for some reason.
We’re still making progress on the Australian Caltex petrol stations.
Again big thanks to editors who are seeking out petrol stations that haven’t been added and adding them. Remember you can always just submit an Area Manager request to knock off a few in one town you haven’t driven through recently.

Also if you’re out and about and see a petrol station not appearing on the map, you can also submit a User Report with the name of the missing petrol station.

I went through and fixed up the ones in my area in NSW, all but one which has been placed, but no details entered and it has a level 4 editor lock. Corrimal NSW is the one in question.
Can’t wait to get all this out of the way and get some features enabled in waze.
cj, please provide us with a permalink of the petrol station in question so we can fix it up.
Oh yeah, should have provided that. lol… There are actually 2 petrol stations here. One is a shell, the other is a caltex. Both are locked, so if you can unlock them both, I can fix them up.
