Some new numbers have come in in regards to how many servos have been mapped.

As of February 23, there are 4812 servos mapped in Waze, or approximately 77.0% of all servos in Australia.

We are now beyond 70-75% (4375-4687), which was the target for servos to be mapped before Waze enabled fuel prices for us.

THE FUEL PRICE FEATURE WAS TURNED ON IN AUSTRALIA ON FEBRUARY 26, 2014. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE AUSSIE EDITORS WHO MAPPED STATIONS AS WELL AS WAZE STAFF FOR THEIR SUPPORT.

I am planning to complete another 500 petrol stations before Christmas.
I am working off a list of Caltex service stations compiled by Jeedo and if you see any in your area from the list please feel free to click on the link for the google maps check its location and then paste the address in the waze editor and check if it is already done.
The spreadsheet is full interactive so select your state and then your suburb and see all the stations that are unchecked. If the station is already there but marked as unchecked then edit that line and mark as checked, if it is not there just add the petrol station as you would a road and then mark it as checked, simple.
There are also lists for Shell and others on the forum posts so lets get cracking. I think we are closer to 52% now so if everyone did say 10 stations a week and 10 people helped out in the next 5 weeks that would be 500 more and we would be there. lol
I have just passed 1300 completed Caltex station in the spreadsheet (not all me of course) so stay tuned for the latest update.

So the Caltex Stations are now up to 1383 up from 1300 a week ago there is now only 163 to finish Caltex Stations in NSW. I have connected a lot of roads around the Snowy mountains at the same time and found a number of map updates dating back to June this year that had not been looked at which i have fixed. So there is only 500 or so stations in the Caltex spreadsheet to finish.

NSW status only 145 stations to go. Getting excited with NSW over half done in Caltex Stations I’m over 1000 stations completed I reckon lol

Well a special thanks to jab_au(5) who had done 3 petrol stations in Grafton with his help we have added/checked another 100 petrol stations to the Caltex checked list which now stands at 1450. NSW has only 110 more stations to go to be completed for Caltex Stations. And I have passed 50,000 map edits. Thanks to all the waze champs for your help and encouragement

Well only 96 Stations left on the list for Caltex NSW i have been doing Shell and BP as I see them on the map as well. Maybe by next weekend I will have NSW finished, see how I go. Then on to QLD which could be a challenge since I don’t have editing rights there maybe the Waze champs will help me out if I feed them lots of unlock requests lol

Im ready to start QLD with less than 70 stations in NSW to do I am encountering more that I can’t edit in Lismore etc and finding it longwinded to get others to add them for me.

I’ve processed your AM application for QLD. Waze system will complete this within 24 hours.

New stats have been put up from November 4. We’ve been making progress. In about 3 weeks, 309 new stations, so an average of 100 a week being added is quite impressive. Great effort being made!

Well NSW Caltex Servos are virtually finished, 7 that I can’t edit to go and when I get Queensland editing rights these last 7 will be ticked off as well. 1544 Stations are done about 260 in Queensland should make it complete. lol

Well another 50 or so servos crossed of the list for Queensland only 200 to go and all of Caltex will be virtually finished. 1600 servos in all have been checked and or added, not long now and the Facebook page is predicting we will have petrol pricing by the end of the year, we are very close indeed… Thanks to everyone who has been helping in this mammoth effort. It makes me proud to be a wazer.

Another 50 servos added or checked now only 150 to go to complete Caltex servos in QLD. I think some else helped with this last 50 as the table went down by 20 between when I was updating. If you are the “culprit” thanks a lot for the assistance.

Well only 68 servos in QLD to go for Caltex to be mapped Australia wide, heading to 1800 Caltex stations mapped.

In about 3 weeks, we have gone up over 4% and have added 257 more stations! Great work to all who have been helping!

Great news guys
just finished another 35 servos in Queensland so there are 50 to go to finish all of Oz
1733 servos in Caltex added
about 460 to go to get to 70% by my rough guess and about 400 to go after Caltex is finished.
