New here… Wanted to edit a huge chunk of road that’s missing speed limits. I was able to select the first segment of the problem road, but the rest is apparently not part of my trip. I know at least 100km of that road was running Waze both ways…
I caught a mention of “signal” in another thread… Do we actually need valid data connection to be able to edit a segment of map? If so, the roads I’m looking at are going to never get fixed.

There are a few things that may stop you editing a segment. Your editable area (and yeah, unfortunately, this is affected by mobile coverage somewhat, as it can affect the continuity of your “drives”), and lock level.
If the segment is locked above your level, you’ll need to submit an update/unlock request here, or on our Discord Server.
If the issue is incomplete editable area, you can ask one of our Area/State managers on the aforementioned Discord Server, or post an update request to the forum above with details about what you’d like to change.
