It is completely normal to have disagreements about map editing, but personal attacks, public pressure, and blaming fellow editors have no place here.
To maintain a supportive and welcoming French community, we ask that you follow these golden rules:
- Keep it private: Personal tensions and private exchanges must not be shared in public forums or Discord channels open to all.
- Support your arguments with facts: Handle mapping disagreements calmly and through the proper channels, using concrete facts, examples, and permalinks.
- Assume good faith: Assume that everyone is acting with good intentions to improve the map. If an editor lacks experience, guide them to the Waze Academy or suggest they seek a mentor.
- Respect everyone’s work: Remember that all members of this community are volunteers. Please respect each person’s time and effort.
