Starting from 8:30 a.m. on Monday, July 6, 2026, due to roadworks involving the closure of via Capitolina in the section between viale Ragazzi del '99 and via del Castello, the route will be modified as follows: via Capitolina, viale Ragazzi del '99 (made one-way towards via T. Grossi), via Tommaso Grossi (with one-way traffic reversed in the direction of via S. Giusto), with a “stop” sign at the intersection.

The closure on Via Ragazzi del '99 exclusively affects the direction from Via Tommaso Grossi toward Via Capitolina and not the opposite direction. The same applies to a section of Via Tommaso Grossi, which is blocked only in the direction from Viale della Rimembranza toward Via Ragazzi del '99 and not in the opposite direction.
The app is unable to distinguish (graphically only) between full closures and those affecting only one of the two directions of travel, and the graphical representation provided is the same. However, the routing effectiveness instead only applies to the blocked direction, resulting in routing only suggesting the freely passable direction and not the temporarily prohibited one.
To see the effectiveness of the closure, you must use Waze in navigation mode—by setting a destination—which is the way Waze should be used to appreciate its effectiveness and functionality.
When a one-way street is temporary, such as during roadworks, for technical reasons a closure is used only in the blocked direction. The fact that the app’s graphics do not highlight this does not change the routing functionality, which remains correct.
