Thanks for the report, but the restrictions are already in place and active, as is the temporary roundabout at the intersection of Via Svevo, Via Doda, and the timber terminal exit.

Hi, yes, Via Lorenzetti is also reported as closed here, but it’s actually passable downhill only in the direction of Via D’Alviano, and that section of Via Broletto between Via dell’Industria and Viale Campi Elisi isn’t closed but open…

Regardless of the graphical indicators, the section of Via Lorenzetti is only closed in the direction from Via d’Alviano toward Via Battera; it is freely passable in the other direction. Meanwhile, the section of Via del Broletto is only closed from Via dell’Industria toward Via d’Alviano, as the ordinance specifies it is only passable in the opposite direction. Additionally, there is a closure on the left turn from Via dei Lavoratori onto Via Italo Svevo, as this is also temporarily restricted due to roadworks.

Waze’s routing engine takes these settings into account and avoids planning routes in prohibited directions, and this is what matters for Waze. As previously stated in the other thread, using Waze without setting a destination cannot provide useful guidance on which roads to take. Furthermore, any alerts for speed cameras, red light cameras, traffic lights, level crossings, and so on, may be triggered with incorrect timing, on roads not affected by the alerts, or may not be given at all when using Waze without a set destination. All this occurs because Waze is unable to predict the route the user intends to take if a destination has not been set.
