I’m looking to change a church address in Waze.
The Church name is:
Vista Community Church
The previous address is:
7349 Worthington Galena Rd
Columbus, OH 43085
The new Address:
5626 Frantz Rd
Dublin, OH 43017
Google and Yelp have been updated.
This has been done.
Thank you! When should I expect to see the change reflected?
Make sure to remove all past searches and any saved locations of this church and then re-add the church. It will update the navigation. Not doing so will show old info.
How do I do that?
To get the updated result for this location please On your phone, go to Where to? > long-press on the entry > tap Remove drive. Repeat these steps in Saved places, Home, and Work. Then re-add the destination. These steps will clear the navigation cache for this address. If this is not done you will continue to get improper navigation.
I did those steps and it’s still showing up as the Worthington address in the search bar for me and several others.
Make sure to hit enter and not use the use quick search feature. After I hit enter it was the first result on my list.

No problem.
Bnmurray, Google Places can take longer to change when they close or move. Google usually has a second person confirm that the change is correct. Google also carefully distinguishes between a “move” and a permanently closed versus a newly opened organization. It can take days or weeks depending on Google.

The address was corrected on Google at least 6+ weeks ago.
We can only control what Waze shows. We have no control over Google’s listings or when they update anything. We try to help by making suggestions to Google, but that’s all we can do. That suggestion mechanism is available to anyone.
