There’s some rampant city blur going on in this area, most of it is pretty old and the roads have been touched by numerous editors over the years, though it still needs cleaning up.
Reminder. The city name should only be set in built up areas not in open countryside, if a long segment exits a ‘city’ then it should be split and the city name added only to the portion that is residential.

I see what Dave means about city blur, Cockerham for one is way too big. And there are some dodgy turn restrictions too, see Church Ln in the SW corner of the oversize “Cockerham” for example. I wouldn’t want to discourage correction of "city"s, but the road junctions are far more important IMHO
I agree with you both but the city name problems were so big, I wanted to sort those first before going through looking for other issues. It was sorting out Cockerham which discovered the other villages. Trying too many things at once leads to brain overload
