Get ready because it’s that time of the year again! We’re excited to announce that registration is now open for securing spots on the 2024 Community Local Meetups and Waze Cafes calendar!
In-Person Meetups Take Center Stage:
We’ve listened to your feedback and are focusing on In-Person Meetups this time around. This means we’ll no longer offer the option for virtual participation. We understand the challenges that arise when combining in-person and virtual participation, such as unequal engagement and technical issues that can affect the overall experience. Our goal is to ensure an enjoyable and fruitful experience for everyone involved.
Virtual Meetups Still an Option:
But don’t worry, we’re not saying goodbye to Virtual Meetups entirely! If you’re interested in hosting a Virtual-Only Meetup on top of an in-person one, we’re here to support you. Your local leadership can connect with the respective Community Manager to coordinate the date and content, and we’ll assist with the registration process.
What’s Next:
In the weeks ahead, we’ll collaborate with your local community leadership to plan these highly anticipated gatherings. As the Meetup draws near and we confirm the dates and locations, you will have the opportunity to register.
