Connection from 9W north to Boulevard via Continental CLOSED: BRIDGE OUT

Heading north on 9W past the Storm King School, Mountain Rd exit, one finds two exits to Continental Road.

The first exit serves only those on Continental Rd BEFORE it intersects with Boulevard. The connection after the last residence and Boulevard was washed out by Hurricane Ida. It is not possible to go from the first exit onto Continental from 9W North to Boulevard.

One must go to the 2nd exit onto Continental from 9W north and then one turns left onto Boulevard. Where one turns, one can see that Continental is washed out at this point. There is a 12 inch natural gas line held in place by ties to a telephone pole places across the opening.

Please make these corrections as it will be sometime before the bridge will be replaced.

Thanks! I have cut the segment to prepare it to be closed, but it will take 24 hours to close due to the way the waze map updates. We should hopefully have it in by the end of the week!
