Cyrillic names instead of latin alphabet in Kosovo

Hi,

City names on the map are shown in the correct translation and in the Latin alphabet. When starting a navigation, the names change to Serbian in Cyrillic.

This greatly affects the use of more than 90% of users in kosovo and diaspora. Changing this is strongly needed and would align with other map applications, which do not have this problem.

Thanks.

Kosovo – Incorrect Serbian/Cyrillic names in navigation

Waze is displaying Serbian/Cyrillic names for places in Kosovo during navigation, even when the map/search shows the correct Latin/Albanian names.

Example: Ferizaj → Урошевац (Uroševac).

This is not an isolated map error. It appears to be a country-wide localization/navigation problem.

Please review Kosovo’s naming/localization settings and ensure that Albanian/Latin names are displayed as the primary names in Albanian-speaking areas. Serbian names can remain as alternative names where appropriate, but should not replace the local Latin/Albanian names during navigation.

Please investigate and correct this issue for all of Kosovo, not only individual cities.

Screenshots are attached as evidence.
