Hello Waze Team,

Could you please update the hours of operation and phone number for Daly’s Pub & Rec (link: https://waze.com/en-US/editor?env=usa&lat=40.61581&lon=-111.51122&zoomLevel=22&venues=162857366.1628508126.20719686) as follows:

Hours:

  • Monday - Tuesday Closed
  • Wednesday - Sunday 2:00pm - 9:00pm

Phone number:

  • (435) 604-1300

Unfortunately, we don’t have sufficient edit rights to make these updates ourselves.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. The phone number has been updated in Waze as requested.

However, please be aware that the Montage Deer Valley website section for Daly’s Pub & Rec currently (as of writing at 2026-08-18T15:30:00Z) shows “Daily” hours, not Wednesday through Sunday:

Our community standard is to treat 1st party published information as official, with crowdsourced information filling in where needed. I called the desk at the Montage Deer Valley and they told me that Daly’s is open 7 days a week, including this afternoon. So I am rejecting your proposed update to the hours.

To ensure that your requests are not rejected in the future, please encourage your client hotels to update their own websites before requesting mapping services to update theirs. If hours are planned to change on or after a certain date, please include that information in the request. This kind of information needs to be verified, and the easiest way to do that is to refer to the official website. When we have to call them and find your requests to be incorrect, that creates extra work for the volunteer map editors, and doesn’t look good for you. Especially when you had us make an update to the hours at the same place 7 weeks ago.

Thanks for the update and for taking care of the phone number!

We’re aware of the discrepancy on the Montage Deer Valley website, and the property is aware of it as well. They’re currently working on updating their website to reflect the confirmed Wednesday–Sunday hours.

He called the desk and they confirmed the hours on the website are their hours. So this isn’t just a website discrepancy.
