The street is Summit Avenue in Harrisonburg, VA. There are two sides of the street - one is accessed from Mt Clinton Pike to the north, the other is accessed from Greystone Street from the south. The two segments of the street are separated by a grassy area. The address in question is 981 Summit Ave, which is accessed from the south segment, but both Google Maps and Waze calculate the directions to access 981 Summit Ave from the north segment. Can this be fixed?
This address routes properly in the app for me. I come in from Greystone St.
The app is currently showing your address in the correct spot. Please remove any instance of this address from your history by following: https://support.google.com/waze/answer/6262570?hl=en and delete if saved as a Favorite/Home/Work location.
Then search for the address. If you don’t remove the old results from your navigation or Favorites/Home/Work, then you will continue to be routed to the old coordinates. Please let us know if this resolves your issue. Thanks!
I did submit a change to Google Maps but who knows when they will evaluate and approve it.
Thank you! I was using the Live Map to test, and after deleting the saved address, the route calculated correctly, as you said.
Great. Glad it is fixed. FYI Live Map uses Google Map results. You need to use the app for the proper routing.
