Dirtoads: Unpaved vs 4x4 trails

Hi all,

I’m borrowing Elphix’s text and pasting it here so it is available also for editors not (yet) on Slack.

Waze has indicated that it will be making changes to the way dirt roads are handled. Previously we had normal streets as well as dirt roads. Now we have normal streets, steets that are unpaved (checkbox) as well as dirt tracks. The logic is that streets that are unpaved but still navigable are to be marked as such (street with a checkbox) and dirt tracks are roads that are not navigable (such as 4x4 tracks etc). All current dirt tracks will be automagically changed to unpaved streets (checkboxed). Please see to it that if you are adding new roads, particularly in the rural areas, that you mark them correctly.
