I’m a Level 1 in the US. I was going to my local area to add parking lot suggestions. When I tried to add my first one and save it, I get this error:
I was just curious if I needed to be a specific level or not. Thanks.
There are two possible reasons for this.
- In some communities finished places are being locked when they reach a certain level of completeness.
- As a new editor the first place edits you make have to be reviewed. Because of this it’s not possible to make two consecutive edits to the same place without approval of the first of.
Independent of the possible cause it is advisable to reach out to your local community via https://www.waze.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=1440. They will have the necessary access to the map to be able to help you.
Hmmm–maybe it’s #2. When I went to the map, I clicked on one of the “problem” parking lot areas and clicked “solved” because technically the area wasn’t a parking lot–it was a neighborhood. So, I didn’t actually place a parking lot area on it–I just marked the error as “solved.” Then, I tried went to another problem parking lot area and went to actually add a parking lot area to it, then got the error message. Could that be the case? Thanks.
