Drives not showing up in Map Editor

Hello fellow Aussies.

I hope this is an ok fourm to post this in.

I’ve been a Waze user for 7 years, but only really used it back in the day, so only clocked about 900KM.

Long story short, I’ve just started using it again since Android Audio support and have noticed a few mapping issues, however my drives don’t seem to be appearing in the Map Editor. Is there are delay of “days” before they appear?

Also, I have made some edits locally edits in my limited area on the Map Editor, however my stats still say 0 edits. Does yours stats also take “days” do reflect?

Would love to start helping out the waze community with edits, but it makes it hard when my drives don’t appear and my stats don’t update.

I don’t have a specific example for points, but these can take up to 7 days to show (generally). You can also go to your editor profile, the URL is structured like:

https://www.waze.com/user/editor/<username>

Typically the Christmas/New Year period is worse because of many people driving more/greater distances than normal. This seems to cause the Waze Drive Processing servers to lag behind.

Having said that, I have had many occasions where one drive shows up almost instantly, while others can take longer or never show up at all (driven on the same day).

Thank you for the reply JohnB, it’s much appreciated. I’ll just wait it out and hopefully they will eventually appear on my profile.

As for my edits on the map editor directly, I guess I’ll need for level 2s and 3s to see them first and approve them.

I really want to start helping out with the local community and map edits, hopefully it improves a little reflecting drives and edits appearing.

It all takes time buddy. I’ve been online for over 12 months and still learning new things about the software. It’s loads of fun.

Thanks and no worries, will just keep waiting… hopefully not to long :slight_smile: - I just replied in the Victoria feed with a little story, but basically have an autoimmune disease that has given me server fibrosis, so trying to find things that can give back to the community while I currently have some more time on my hands at the moment. I’ve always liked mapping and GPSs, and edit with HERE, and OpenMap etc… but find on Waze there is so much missing and incorrect data… I also like points :slight_smile:
