When you search for Terry Hills multiple addresses show up. The location on Red Oak Lane is incorrect, can this be updated/deleted? Our address is 5122 Clinton Street Rd.
Hello! When searching for Terry Hills Golf Course in the Waze app I am able to see the erroneous result you’ve described. This happens to be a Google result, so I’ve submitted a correction to Google to remove the duplicate place and merge with the correct location at 5122 Clinton Street Road. While waiting for Google to update their result I also linked the erroneous Google place to the correct Waze place so that navigation will all point to the same location going forward. In time, the erroneous result should stop showing up in the Waze app.
Please note that for the app to recognize the change, you should delete this address from your favorites and/or history to purge the old location stored in your app memory. This will force Waze to retrieve the new location from the server when you search for it again.
I also see a few updates to the Waze place that you submitted and I’ve accepted those changes which should be live in the app now.

You’re welcome! Unfortunately it looks like Google Maps rejected my modification to the erroneous duplicate place on Red Oak Lane. Choosing this result in the Waze app will still navigate you to the correct location however.
Assuming you’re associated with the business, I would suggest searching for this result in Google and “claiming” the business (both the correct and incorrect results in Google, in fact). This will allow you more control of the Google place and ultimately you may be able to mark it as a duplicate or at least move the pin if Google allows it. Because Google’s database of places is so extensive, access to its listings is valuable for Waze but comes with these challenges on occasion.
After removing Terry Hills from your history, let us know if you continue to have any issues navigating there.
