Many places that are advertised through the waze map cannot be directly edited. These places include the following warning if you select them:
You can propose edits to such locked places. When you do propose an edit you should get the following rather misleading message:
The proposed edits should be reviewed by waze staff within days of saving your proposed edit. If there is a place that you cannot move to the correct location due to the distance between the two locations please submit below. If you are able to create a PUR to resolve the issue please do so. ONLY use this form if you cannot resolve the issue with a PUR. If you notice PURs are not being resolved within a few days of being submitted please let one of the State Managers know.
