Editor needed to fix turn restrictions

Hi there :slight_smile:

I need help with some turn restrictions. I just can’t change them, because, for crying out, it’s just outside my editing area!! How frustrating.

There are numerous reports on the area, because a newbie added roads there are not, and neglected to check turn restrictions. Users want to go to Kempton Park, but there are roads leading there which blocks them. Please help these souls :slight_smile:

The following is what I could find:

  1. Please remove the marked Cliffort Ave, both sides of Clulee.
  2. Check turn restrictions for island segment of Clulee between the two ways of Peace. Turn into Peace at both ends, straight into large Clulee segment.
  3. Make the island segment of Clulee a street, it adds to misdirection of users wanting to turn into London Rd (to the west).
  4. Check large Clulee turn into Peace and into Meadow.
  5. Check Clulee below Gordon turn into Meadow.
  6. Check Meadow turn into Clulee both left & right.

If there are something I’ve overlooked, please do rectify!

The editor responding, please comment in at least one UR in Hilron Rd so I can know the problem is solved.

I’ve updated the turn restrictions on Meadow/Clulee & Clulee/Peace intersections. I’ve also locked Peace St, and the primary section of Clulee Rd at L3.

Not sure what simulator was up to when they deleted and recreated Clulee Rd. Probably something to do with the construction a bit further up Clulee.

Thanks Leigh! You’re a superstar ^^, I knew you would be able to rescue them, because you were there very recently :wink:

The primary section of Clulee needs to be a normal street. Waze use that as a detour to get to London Rd quicker. A user from N3 onto London Rd offramp, reported that Waze took him via Clulee to turn into London Rd, instead of just turn right into London Rd. By demoting the segment, hopefully Waze will reconsider using that.

I’m not sure how much of Clulee Rd is under construction, but a user did say that Clulee is blocked at Ronald. I don’t know about Clulee & Gordon, and Clulee & Meadow.

It’s ridiculous what most newbies do on Waze. They test their ability to make roads, and just leave them there. I did that too, but I deleted my test roads. Now I’m deleting perfectly straight segments of a few km’s each, next to the N12 on my way to Kimberley. Yep, my reminder reports :slight_smile: I like the reports thing, it’s like a note pad to me ^^,
