Smoother WME navigation

We've made the Unified Action Menu smoother and more reliable, so you can navigate sub menus diagonally. We also added a safe zone to prevent accidental menu closures. We hope it makes editing easier and more fun! Learn more.

Community achievements

Over 20,000 school zones mapped

Kudos to all our communities who have completed their school zone MapRaids, and to those who are still editing away. We've surpassed 20K mapped school zones globally. Some of the communities leading the way: Australia, UK, Uruguay, Brazil, US, Romania, Moldova.

Whether your community has finished mapping or is still in progress, your contributions are making a significant impact on road safety. Congrats on this huge achievement!

Africa Map Raid results are in!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Africa Map Raid! Together, you created 421,826 new segments across Kenya, Somalia and Ethiopia. One raider shared: “I’ve learned so much and grown a lot…and reaching Level 4 along the way made it even more rewarding!”

Star of the Month

Meet NOVAGENOFFICIAL, our dedicated L4 editor, and beta tester from Pakistan.

"Five years ago, I started using Waze because Google Maps was too slow. I added a lot of roads to my home city of Lahore and became part of the Waze community. Along the way, I learned and grew, always aiming to draw a complete map of Lahore. The goal of our community is to make Waze fully available across Pakistan, and we are localizing the app in Urdu as well.”

Thank you NOVAGENOFFICIAL for all your editing contributions and social activity on Waze Pakistan on Instagram and Discord!

Nominate a Star of the Month.
