November Office Hours
Join us on November 16th for a good old fashioned WME Roundup! We’ll be joined by Product Managers from the Community Health Squad to cover what’s been released in the second half of 2025, and sneak peeks at what’s coming in 2026!
EMEA Mega Meetup
Warsaw, Poland welcomed us for the 2025 EMEA Mega Meetup! 119 Map Editors, Beta Testers and Localizers from 33 countries gathered for a weekend of Waze updates, engaging workshops and great entertainment.
Local meetups and Waze Cafes also took place in Denmark, US and Canada! See photos.
Community achievements
UCI Championships Rwanda
Kudos to the Rwandan community for adding closures to the map ahead of the UCI Road World Championships for bicycle road racing. Thank you to Baptenda and Kstor_80 who mapped the closures and collaborated with the Kigali Police to support the event and promote Waze on X with a post that got over 33K views!
La Vuelta a España
The Community mapped 16K road closures across Italy, France, Andorra and Spain. Thanks for supporting drivers during the race on both Waze and Google Maps!
New Waze for Cities course
Check out our latest Waze Academy course: Waze for Cities: First Steps. This course teaches Waze partners how to use the tools you all help maintain, like influencing driver navigation and managing events. Learn more.
Training in the Philippines!
The Philippine Community held an engaging training session for 29 new editors. They learned fundamental editing skills, how to handle URs, PURs and much more. Huge thank you to Adabadada, kazmuth and SpeedDzel for leading the training and guiding the next generation of Waze editors!
