Recent updates had made the voices worse. Others have commented too.
When are Waze likely to review & improve?

If you currently have issues with the voices within the app, I would recommend going to the Waze Help center and searching for the exact issue that you’re encountering.
I would also recommend the Waze Suggestion Box to vote on and suggest new ideas to improve Waze. There is a search option to see if anyone else has your same suggestion.
