A Wazer presumably staying at these holiday lodges in Scotland over the break has paved a few miles of forestery tracks. They don’t lead anywhere, should I PM the creator to propose deletion or are Waze maps ok to include everything driveable even if not a through-route?

Since Waze is intended to give drivers directions to reach places, the question to ask is “do these tracks lead to any destination that someone might need to get to?”.
Playing with the Google Maps “What’s here” option produces no results. However, there may be something on those tracks - like a fishing lodge or a camp site. If there are no such places, then there’s no point in having them on the map. Waze isn’t intended to just “show you where you are” and it’s possible that someone entering an invalid GPS location, or “Teyriach Wood”, may be directed down these tracks.
I had a similar situation a while back with a forest reserve somewhere up North. A user entered the name of the reserve and Google supplied the coords of the centre of the forest. Waze then directed the reporter miles out of their way and up a gated forest track. In that case, the visitor centre wasn’t marked in Waze - I added it and it now shows up in search.
I would suggest you PM the editor - they joined Waze about a month ago, but have visited the forum today, so they should get the PM. Explain the problem (or point them to this topic) and, whilst you’re at it, you can explain about red roads and point them to the Wiki. 
Those new roads look like they were drawn using the editor, rather than paved with the app.
