I am new to waze and have tried to add any roads to the wiki-waze standards. I just saw this added yesterday near the Mount Carmel Grove City Emergency hospital. What is the standard for fixing this? I’d like to wait about a week to let the person who added them fix them, and then take care of it myself. Is that would you seasoned wazers do? Thanks.

Super that worked. Those are about the worst roads I’ve ever seen. 
It looks like someone did an in-app “pave”. Sometimes those are salvageable, but many times it’s just easier to delete them all and draw them. I’ll sometimes try to keep one or two major ones just so that the credit for the original paving is shown in the history.
These are all private roads for the facility, right? And I’m guessing that they’re not named. So, I’d go in and * only map the major thoroughfares (deleting any side spurs that don’t really aid navigation – my rule-of-thumb is that if you can easily see your way out of a place, there’s no need to add a driveway/lane),
- connect them all together and set turn restrictions appropriately (probably Q/W on the intersections),
- control-click each of them to select them all,
- set the city (at least to “none”) and the street name (“none”) and make the type “private road”.
- save
- look for any remaining red roads and fix
Thanks for the help. I’ll do that after especially waiting a week. If someone paved this, they might go in a look soon and see for themselves the poor job the paving did and fix it themselves. I have not tried paving yet, but had considered it since it seems to be worth more points than edits and munching. But I did read elsewhere that it tends to be most useful on long stretches.
TWS, I might add that roads like the ones you found are generally made by new editors who were not fully aware they weren’t mapping correctly (the alternative, that they were aware of their errors and went ahead anyway would be worse). I generally send them a pm pointing out that the ‘red’ roads indicate they were not labeled/named/saved properly and refer them to the Waze Wiki and forums for info on proper procedures. This makes them aware someone is watching, and may deter them from making more errors of the same type. I wait at least a week or so before making corrections.
