Waze has started to alert for a red light camera when travelling northbound at -12.39401799617073, 130.85593593687818. Issue is that the red light/speed camera is ~500metres behind you and for the other side of the road.
The red/light speed camera at -12.398208351563813, 130.85615426548657 observes south bound traffic, and traffic westbound out of the major side road, northbound traffic is not (currently) under observation.
I was not able to locate anyway to report this map fault within the app.
Hi there,
Has this recently started to happen? Are you getting your GPS move around whilst driving, moving off the route you are on and then going back to it?
On the base map there isn’t a camera north bound, only the south and west bound.
Thanks
TerritoryKate
Yes it recently started to happen, I didnt notice it previously (and this is my home/work trip) alert happens fine on the southbound (inbound) track. Logically speaking the system would have to think that I am suddenly doing a U turn would it not?
Hi there,
Yes, it would have to think you are suddenly going inbound on Bagot rather than outbound.
Does it happen anywhere else where it jumps about and recalculates the route?
