Now that Waze is starting to roll out the functionality for Speed AND red light cameras the speed attribute should be added to fixed cameras around Cyprus.
When the AI system for phone detection also gets rolled out the phone attribute should also get added.
Hey @panask are existing Red-light cameras being upgraded to Speed+Red? Is it different camera hardware, or are they opening up the second function through software?
Hey there, all red light cameras have always checked for speeding. I even got a fine from one a year ago.
About the mobile phone functionality, it has still to be implemented.
Can you share an example intersection please?

Every fixed traffic light camera at an intersection automatically measures speed too.
An example is the traffic lights at Ariel limassol.
