Can a Lvl 5 please unlock these segments, to allow them to be updated to match the new road layout here.
I initially raised a UR due to the Exit Left instruction to J1 being late (however was not able to add details at the time), so I have raised an new UR today for this.
So, my initial plan was to merely bring the J1 exit forward to match the current aerials.
However, the layout has changed again since these aerials and now the road running between the M9 Spur (S) and the M9 (E) J1 exit actually runs alongside the M9 (E) (2 lanes running straight to the J1 Exit, alongside the 2 M9 (E) lanes), meaning that at no point are you really actually on the M9 (E) (if you are heading off at the J1 Exit that is).
As such, I would really expect Waze to tell me to Keep Right if coming from the M9 Spur (S) and continuing onto the M9 (E) (and subsequently the M8 (W)), and give no instruction to have me continue straight onto the J1 Exit.

I should clarify, I have raised this as although it is outside of my AM area, I drive this route every day to work (I live in Inverkeithing, Fife and work in Livingston), which is why I noticed it and raised the UR.
David, if you wait for Darren you may be waiting for some time. My request for the wrong junction numbers on the M8 to be corrected (http://world.waze.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=375&t=33776) still hasn’t been answered for more than 4 months! I’ve been very patient and have only mentioned this a couple of times, but each time I was told to wait for Darren… it doesn’t really inspire me to post update requests in this forum more regularly. I can’t see what is so controversial about correctly labelling J17 as J17 and not as J19!
Can’t say I appreciate your tone. I’ve been more than accommodating to most of your queries. If I missed any then I apologise, with a brand new baby, a house sale and a house purchase on the cards as well as an extremely busy period at work I’m afraid my mind has been on other things. You could quite easily have emailed me or asked if one of the other Country Admins could have a look.
On another note I’ve tried PMing you, tweeting you and was about to email you about your addition of suffices to areas around Edinburgh. This is against the wiki and something we’ve been working hard to eradicate for a long time. Please stop immediately.
If you have a complaint about me in future please approach myself or one of the other UK Admins.
Apologies Darren, this wasn’t meant as a criticism towards you, though I realise now that I came across too harshly. My concern was that putting all of the onus upon a single volunteer isn’t very effective as we are as individuals all very busy. I had mentioned this to you, mrgrumpy, timbones and others at various times in the past four months, and I was always deferred back to you, when you have obviously been too busy to deal with it. I didn’t want to keep pestering you, and my point here is that if it can be done without pestering you then that would be better.
Regarding the suffices to areas around Edinburgh, I honestly haven’t received a PM or tweet or any communication from you. I don’t know why, as I have received messages from you before via these routes. I thought I was following the wiki exactly to the word (I wouldn’t have come up with this idea myself), quoting from http://www.waze.com/wiki/index.php/How_to_label_cities_(United_Kingdom):
Apologies if I have misinterpreted this guidance. If that is the case, may I suggest it be made more clear? I was under the impression that the removal of suffices only applied to the names of counties from towns with unique names and did not apply to city suburbs.
I’ll be back in the game soon and a more normal (better) service will hopefully resume. Quite aware my Waze time has been lacking recently!
Regarding the suburbs, I’m going to have a chat with the other Admins, I didn’t think we ever made them official and personally find them to be pointless.
