With the introduction of the new iPhone beta 1.10.99.9, we now have the capability of creating and using “Groups”. As the top points guy in Florida (for now), I’ve gone ahead and I’ve already added a Florida Wazers group and created a FloridaWazers twitter account to track said Florida Wazers. We’ll see if anyone joins.
If you do join and have waze update your twitter feed and would like to be added to the FloridaWazers twitter feed, post your twitter account name and I will add you.
Hey guys, added you to the FloridaWazers twitter but you will have to wait until the next official release to get the “Groups” feature on the client (I’m not associated with the company and have nothing to do with that). The beta is closed (has been for about a year now). They usually get updates pushed through pretty quickly though.
I’m not much for twitter, but thought I should at least say hello. I’ve just signed up as an area manager for the area around Brandon, FL and am waiting approval for the area around Pinellas Park, FL. I’ll go ahead follow the group for sure, though… my twitter is @w1bmw.
This might be a good way to put together a Wazers Wing Night or something!
I did. rferris is the only one with any territory on the peninsula and he’s all north of Oldsmar/Dunedin. Here’s the pending Pinellas Park SuperPermalink and the SuperPermalink for the area near my house ** Update: Nevermind I see you have it there, ftboomer. Please let me know if I can be of help.
Yes that is correct. Please jump in wherever you can. I only requested the state because I travel the whole state and needed to make changes in several areas.
I have recently adopted parts of the Panhandle as an Area Manager, primarily Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Escambia Counties. When I first signed on, this area was mostly broken and untraveled if the munchie trails were any indication. Slowly, as the server chugs along to keep up the hundreds of changes I’ve submitted, routing is improving.
