Is there any way of discouraging the creation of unnamed walking trails/pedestrian boardwalks? Maybe making the street field mandatory or locked to L2 editors?
In my experience it’s the most abused edit by lower ranked editors. :evil:
I was going to contact the user but looks like they’ve found something better to do with their time now.
Makes matters worse that due to a bug I can only delete one segment at a time 
I think they do it with good intentions…I know I went straight into adding footpaths and PLRs when I first started editing, because there was nothing else to add and I didn’t know any better. And look at me now, spending my Friday evening map editing :roll:
What makes these particular edits annoying though are the new estate roads just to north crying out to be added :mrgreen:
Yeah I did those once I’d had my little rant 
A few of those paths could be left as it is the only access to some of the properties (once the address is completed)
I’d normally send them a ‘welcome to Waze’ message and point them toward the mentor scheme
This is often the case on new estates - more houses get built if side roads can be avoided. So a ‘Walk’ is created.
